A film poster showing an orange cat mid-leap against a bright flat background, the title set in large type above.
Ms. Townsworthe approved this one immediately, which has happened exactly once and which we have not stopped mentioning.

Throw It Again

2023·Delivered. The Mouse Wrangler got a credit and a raise.·1 h 22 m

A rascal wants only one thing, forever, and gets it, forever.

Ms. Ginger Townsworthe’s comedy, and the shoot that made the Mouse Wrangler a credited, unionized, pensioned role with a designated backup. Long overdue, and a genuine pleasure to sign.

The premise is a rascal who wants one thing and gets it, forever. The production was the same premise. Sixty-one takes of the same throw, each of them different, each of them better, and the cut came in ninety seconds shorter than the script because she kept finding faster ways to be funny.

The wrangler received a screen credit and, shortly after, a raise. Amara Boateng approved it in under a minute, which is a record of a different kind and our favorite one.

Adorable shoot. Throw the mouse. Throw it again. Five stars, throw it again.
Ms. Ginger Townsworthe · Comedy lead, Throw It Again
A crew member throws a small fabric toy on a brightly lit soundstage while an orange cat crouches ready on a marked floor.
Take sixty-one of the same throw. Sal Petrakis brought the wrangler a second lunch and nobody said anything about it.
